Dr. Jacqueline Olivo, M.D.

Dr. Jacqueline Olivo was born in Trujillo, Peru. At the age of 17, she enrolled at the University of San Luis Gonzaga, in the city of Ica, where she earned her medical degree with honors. Her first practice was at the Hospital Dos de Mayo in Lima, where she helped under-resourced Peruvians have access to health care services. She was later awarded a medical scholarship to continue her studies in Barcelona, Spain. 

She completed her residency in Neurosurgery at El Clínico de Barcelona Hospital in 1994.

She came to the United States to continue her residency at St. Francis Hospital in Chicago while providing medical assistance to under-resourced families in the community. A year later, she was transferred to the University of Illinois where she completed her residency in Family Medicine in 2005. Two years later, in September 2017, she opened her first clinic on Fullerton & Western, which would, years later, expand to Clybourn and a Med Spa. 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Jose Diaz, DN, Pain Management and Physical Rehabilitation

Dr. Jose Diaz, D.N. is a Doctor of Naprapathic Medicine licensed in the states of New Mexico and Illinois. He specializes in Naprapathic Manual Medicine, Kinesio Taping®, cold laser therapy, treatment for PTSD, female chronic pain, fibromyalgia and sports injuries. He received his Doctorate in Naprapathic Medicine from the National College of Naprapathic Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. After serving in the Army for 20 years, he served in Iraq as Resident Engineer Officer in the theater of operations for the multinational force.

In 2001, Dr. Diaz was promoted to the rank of Captain. After his retirement in 2006, Dr. Diaz proceeded to begin studies in pre-med and enrolled in the Naprapathic Medicine Doctoral program. He received certification from the VA Learning University as a Cybersecurity Practitioner. He currently works for the VA as the Medical Compliance Officer for the Illinois area. At the present time, Dr. Diaz is chair of the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) research department at National College of Naprapathic Medicine. He also practices in the NCNM Clinic. Dr. Diaz enjoys working with patients and students. Currently, Dr. Diaz works with veterans at our Fullerton location. 

 

 

Diana Navarro, Medical Aesthetician

Diana is our Lead Aesthetician at Olivo Med Spa. She has been with the Olivo team for three years. Diana attended University of Aesthetics where she became a licensed Aesthetician and now provides full aesthetic services with a focus on advanced clinical care and laser technology.  Diana has extensive training and experience in medical cosmetic treatments and a deep understanding of the various skin types and conditions.  She has performed treatments including but not limited to laser hair removal, multiple forms of dermabrasion, laser skin resurfacing and offers recommedations to those individuals considering injectables, chemical peels, and micro-needling.

Diana is passionate about educating people on the benefits of being healthy both inside and out.  She is dedicated to improving all patients overall appearance from head to toe, and thrives on making people more confident as a result.

 

 

 

 

Monce Vargas, Medical Assistant/Office Administrator

Monce earned her Medical Assistant Certification from Northwestern University in December, 2016. She has been working as a Medical Assistant at Olivo Medical and Wellness Centers for over a year now. She is a natural caretaker and has a passion for helping others. Monce's ultimate goal is to provide absolute exceptional care to her patients and ensure they always leave their office visits feeling positive, informed, and well taken care of. Recently,

Stephanie Guaman, Medical Secretary

Stephanie Guaman graduated from Dominican Univeristy in 2018. She has always been passionate about helping people, especially within a community, which she found at Olivo Medical & Wellness Center. Currently, she is the front desk receptionist and hopes to continue helping the clinic and patients.
